The photo is first of all an encounter with a person, a family, a community. I break the ice then I seek to capture authenticity, but also to show what I see that is wonderful. Hoping that the other will discover a new facet of his own person or his world.

My mentors taught me to be free in my photography practice. This freedom, I share it with my subject. Free from expectations and free to be yourself, in the present moment.




 


Photos redefine the course of events, give them new dimension and poetry. The image embellishes the memory. It rewrites history. And it excites me to participate in this rewriting.

I am a globetrotter and I use travel to deepen my friendships and create indelible memories.

I'm sharing some shots with you here, hoping you'll hear the music, the vibe, and the heartbeats.
